Wildlife, sealife, beaches, walks and unforgettable adventures

Otter playing in the bay, sightings of Golden and Sea Eagles over the bay porpoise and dolphins close to the bay - we’ve got it all!

The bay at Arduaine (just across the road from Seasgair) has its own jetty for you to launch your kayak (it’s on the west coast Sea Kayak Trail) - or dive straight into the clear water for a swim!

The famous National Trust Arduaine Gardens and the Loch Melfort Hotel are only a 10 minute walk away. Here you’ll find an excellent bistro for lunch (as well as a formal restaurant) with incredible views out to the west. You can also say hello to the Heelin Coos named Dougal, Campbell and MacDonald - they are very friendly and love a wee chin rub!

If you want to venture a little further, there are a number of excellent wildlife cruises running regularly from closeby which also take in the famous Gulf of Corryvreckan with the largest whirlpool in the world.

There is so much to see and do in this part of the west coast - whilst the outdoor activities are legendary, you can also go on wonderful walks literally from the doorstep with rarely another person seen.  The views from the top of the hill right behind us are breathtaking and in our view the best on the west coast.

Nearby Oban is a picturesque harbour town where you can get a ferry to the isles - Mull is an easy day trip.

There are lots of historic houses and castles to explore and the area also offers horse-riding, golf, sailing and diving.
